Haiti Still Needs The UN Despite What Black Pan-Africanist Intellectuals May Think!

"The truth of the matter is that Haiti desperately needed external intervention for decades... If the UN forces were to leave Haiti, the country would quickly descend into anarchy..." says Michael A. Dingwall in a letter published by the Jamaica Gleaner.

MINUSTAH - Hasta La Vistah

I was trying to summarize it but I have to say... The man has a lot on his mind...

The letter continues...

The recent alleged sexual attack by Uruguayan soldiers on a young Haitian man has once again fuelled calls by many black pan-Africanist intellectuals, and others, for the 'UN exploiters' to get out of Haiti. While the attack on that young Haitian, if true, is most unfortunate, it would be very wrong for the UN to exit Haiti

Real help from 'wicked' whites

It is very interesting to note that after the earthquake, the countries that these black intellectuals like to show off, like South Africa, Nigeria and even Haiti's close neighbour, Jamaica, did very little to help.

Indeed, it was, and still is, the 'wicked' white powers like the United States, Britain, France and Brazil that are providing the real help. Why must our black intellectuals enjoy biting the hand that is feeding them remains a complete mystery to me!

I would urge our black intellectuals to stop allowing their hatred of anything white to obscure their better judgement... They should also be thankful to the UN for its intervention, and realise that without it, Haiti would be much worse off today.

Like Bob, Mr. Dingwall made his point... Agree? Disagree?

What do you think about his point of view?

This man is out of his mind. The UN is there to protect the white man investment.

We (HAITI) can afford to pay the UN that is the sole reason, they are there for this long. This is how the reparation from France, USA, Brazil, Spain and GreatBritain is been disburst.

In other words the money goes back into the white man pocket.

Minustah has done nothing but stealing goats in Haiti, infected the entire country with choleram driving "char de guerre" every day in a peacefull country and participating in the violation of our young man who could be served in an army force for the country.

I don't get the point when this guy says that if munistah was not in the country it would be worst.

Their mandate comes to an end, they should depart asap. We no longer need a foreign force in the country, whether it be under minustah or UN. Fok yo rache manyok yo pou yo fout ban nou te a

Yes I see your point: Black Pan-Africanist should shut the hell up including others who would like to see the UN get the steppin...Because its not their dime that is being used after all.
Are these people's arrogance have any limits?

People of color countries are usually countries stranded for cash with Brazil as an exception.

They should renew the contract for three more years.

Provided that the parliement stops playing games, right now the parliement is the biggest obstacle we have that is stopping the progress of Haiti.

During those three years the Minustah can train a new army, as we know Haiti can not be without an army. First; We have a population that still do not understand the meaning of democracy, they think democracy is a licence to do anything they want even if it violates the peoples rights.

That guy don't know what he is talking about.

If things get worse it would be sweet after whatever the condition.

Haiti can't never get worse as is with these bastards on it. Maybe a few people will get kill after they leave, but that would be the process of stability.

They have to go ASP, they are not doing anything good in
