The funeral of Former Haitian President Boniface Alexandre 14 August 2023

In his poignant tribute, Prime Minister Ariel Henry remarked, "President Boniface Alexandre was the epitome of Vir Bonus, a true man of goodness who respects the law and enjoys a good reputation. He belongs to the class of men from a certain era, which unfortunately we find less and less in our society."

Among the distinguished individuals in attendance was Mirlande Manigat, a former First Lady, Senator, constitutional law professor, and candidate in the 2010 Haitian presidential election. She joined the gathering to pay her respects to the late President Boniface Alexandre.
