Haiti Foreign Minister Geneus welcome news about Kenya sending 1000 police and leading an International force into the country
As they say in Haitian Creole: "Priye a monte gras la desann." On Sunday, 30 July 2023, Haitian foreign minister Jean Victor Geneus conveyed his profound gratitude on behalf of Haiti, he really means his government, following Kenya's announcement of its intention to lead an international force and deploy 1,000 police officers to assist Haiti.

Foreign minister Geneus described Kenya's intention as a manifestation of African solidarity.
"Haiti appreciates at its fair value this manifestation of African solidarity," were the exact words of the foreign minister.
The current government of Haiti under the leadership of prime minister Ariel Henry has been fighting day and night to get some sort of international intervention in Haiti. For better of worse, they may get their wish.
