Haitians seek Refuge outside US Embassy walls in Port-au-Prince running away from gang violence

Running away from the constant gunshots and gang violence in the Haitian capital port-au-prince, many Haitian citizens flocked to the front of the US Embassy in Tabarre. They cannot take it anymore and they are crying for help from the US.

"With violence intensifying in Tabarre, dozens of Haitians have taken up camp outside ⁦the US Embassy Haiti⁩ to seek refuge, Miami Herald reporter Jacqueline Charles tweets.

"They say only a wall separates them from the embassy and with increased gang shootings there's no way the embassy can be unaware. They want the US embassy to help them."

Many parts of Haiti have become like a war zone except the armed gangs are chasing, ransoming and terrorizing unarmed Haitian citizens.

The terrible state that Haiti is in right now is definitely beneficial to some many because the same people who were screaming injustice, massacre and impunity at president Jovenel Moise every minute he was in power have now kept their mouths shut.

Nobody is saying anything.

Nobody is doing anything.

The oligarchs are now in corruption heaven. Politicians who would not even get one percent of the votes in the free and fair election are now running things.

The way Haiti is right now is really bad for its citizens. Howevers it is really good for corrupt people and organizations who profit from chaos, poverty and instability.

Do you think Haiti is going to change for the better?

I seriously doubt that.
