New Haiti Prime Minister Henry Ceant spoke to the Media for the first time (AUDIO)

After submitting his documents to parliament Friday, newly nominated prime minister Jean Henry Ceant spoke to media briefly. Listen to what he had to say...

'We are in the final steps of the formation of the new government," PM Henry Ceant said, "and we will do it according the constitution. All ministers have to submit their documents to us first se we can analyze them before submission to parliament."

"The political parties who are represented in parliament, we have to sit down with them first," Prime Minister Henry Ceant said.

"It is not president Jovenel Moise who gave me this power, it is the constitution," Ceant said. "The president did his job in nominating me. His job is over. Evidently, I will have to sit with him when choosing ministers. He is the one who ran a campaign, he is the one who sold his vision to the people. Whatever I am doing I have to do in accordance with the president because what we are looking for is stability."
