Official: Haiti Prime Minister Jean Henry Ceant formally submits his documents to Parliament

Haitian Nominated Prime Minister Jean Henry Ceant formally made his "Depot de Pièces" (filed his documents) to the Senate of the Republic and the Chamber of Deputes Friday.

Senator Joseph Lambert posts on his twitter account:

In view of his constitutional prerogatives, the Senate of the Republic has received the documents of the appointed Prime Minister, citizen Jean Henry Ceant. A Commission will be formed at the earliest to exhaust this phase of the procedure.

Henry Ceant, a former candidate for president of Haiti should have no problems with his paperwork since they were already approved by the electoral council during his candidacy and the requirements are pretty much the same.

Next stop... Mr Ceant has to form his cabinet of ministers before presenting his énoncé de déclaration de politique générale infront of the general assembly assuming all his paperwork is in order.
