Jean,

What rights do American citizens have here besides voting to put who they want in office?

What is the purpose of having a government if citizens get to choose whatever they want?

If citizens were granted to do or chose what they want, how many people in the U.S. do you think would even want to pay taxes?

The purpose of having a government is to formulate laws and those laws are reinforced by the authorities to ensure that citizens conform to norms that society deems or defines as proper behavior.

Get a clue!!!
