Former Presidents Bill Clinton (USA) and Jean Bertrand Aristide (Haiti)
With the help of US president Bill Clinton, Jean Bertrand Aristide return to Haiti as president of the Republic.
This was the first time in the history of Haiti that a president was exiled and he returned to power.
This was also the the time that the Haitian army, Les Force Armées d'Haiti, was officially disbanded.
I still remember this day, live on CNN, US Army helicopters landed on the grounds of the Haiti national palace.
