Haiti - Bill Clinton says: BIG Mistake if Laurent Lamothe is forced to Leave his Post

Former USA President Bill Clinton says forcing Haitian Prime Minister to leave his post would be a HUGE step BACKWARDS for Haiti since the country has been moving forward the past four years... Lamothe has done a really GOOD JOB, Clinton says...

KREYOL: Bill Clinton di: Voye Laurent Lamothe ale se yon erè GRAV... Ti bonnom lan ap travay di pou Haiti DEKOLE... Avèk Lamothe Peyi a ap bouje, voye Lamothe ale se BACK Haiti pwal fé... Kisa-w panse de sa? Dakò ou pa dakò?

In an exclusive Bill Clinton gave to the Miami Herald, he said the following:

"He [Lamothe] has done a really good job... The one thing that Haiti doesn't want to get out of this process is looking like 'Ok, we had four great years, we were growing like crazy so you think we'll throw it all away and go back to the old ways. It won't be good for the country.' "

"This is the most consistent and decisive government I've ever worked with across a broad range of issues. And I think if you look at the sheer volume of investments they've attracted, everything from hotels to clean energy to healthcare, you have to ask yourself, 'Why is this being done?' "

This is the best government Haiti ever had, it's sad to see it going bye bye. I don't support any party but changes and improvements.

I. Totally disagree with Bill Clinton statement over his support to Laurent Lamoth as Priminister oh Haiti, reason you cannot accept a government putting the country in a such huge and deep debt going from $800 millions to $ 11.5 billion; and a lot of people are dying hungry in country' I had to watch ONG feeding the peoples with the world charity money while the governmrnt is being waisting so much money in other secret issues that the nation into more debt. Are going to face another forginess in the write off this debt to clear it, Iguess the answer is negative, this cannot continue any longer.

How does anyone fall anymore for Bubba's self-serving opinions after what we've learned of him over the better part of the last 20 years or so?.

I suppose it's fool me once, shame on me and fool me twice, shame on

clearly he works for Haiti...investments everywhere.

we have been a nation accepting hand-outs forever, so if those hand-outs are finally bearing fruit, I fail to see the problem here. There is corruption in every government.

Take a look at the US. Haitian need to respect the law and allow elected officials to finish their terms peacefully.
