Haiti's electoral process has been launched, says UN, Core Group
Since there is now an Electoral Council (CEP) in Haiti, the electoral process has been launched, say the United Nations in a recent statement. Now it is up to "the political actors, at all levels, to take all the necessary measures in order to advance towards the organization of the partial legislative, municipal and local elections at the latest by 26 October 2014."
QUESTION: How many "Political actors" is this statement actually referring to?
Will they take listen to the call for action?
I am only asking...
The Core Group, in case you didn't know is... the Ambassadors of Brazil, Spain, the United States of America, France and the European Union, the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of Canada, and the Special Representative of the Organization of American States.
All these people have basically acknowledge that "The race has begun..."
