It will be OK as long as we remember a few things: 1) President Martelly is a man, and cannot walk on water.

2) We did not get in such terrible shape overnight, and it cannot be fixed overnight either.

3) The president cannot do it all, and we all need to get involved in the new Haiti.

You are here, and feel you cannot help the country.

You are wrong, and we are struggling also. You can sponsor one child for $25.00 a month, and I always recommend this organization "LOVE A CHILD".

It is run by an old white couple for the past 20 years, and you can reach them from the Dominican Republic.

They are close to the border, and have been living there for 20 years.

You can check out their website, and see the new homes they are building for the amputees from the earthquake.

They have a tent city on their property, and have to feed all of them. They also have to provide medical care, and support all the villages near them. They built schools, clinics, fish farm, and give a month supply of food to each family in the area. Your $25 will cover all the expenses for one child such as education, clothes, health care, and nutritious meals for the entire month.

I do not know them personally, and they have not paid me to mention their names.
