VIDEO: President Martelly Interview On Miami Radio Mega About His Health

All this week, the Haitian media has been talking it... Watch the video of the first 15 minutes of president Michel Martelly's interview to Alex Saint Surin of Radio Mega as the president explains in details what he considers a near death experience.

According to Alex Saint Surin, there were even rumors that President Michel Martelly was dead...

"Well, Obviously, you are not talking to the dead," Martelly replied.

President Martelly says...

"While I was speaking during the visit of Mexican president Felipe Calderón in Haiti, my wife says she told the first lady of Mexico she thought I was about to pass out...

... Friday... I couldn't go to the Summit of the Americas... I had some very important meetings there... including a one hour sit-down with President Obama...

... By Sunday... six medical doctors were at my house... I slept on a chair... I almost died... I couldn't breathe, I couldn't talk, I couldn't eat, I couldn't stand. I couldn't lay down, I couldn't do anything...

... My stomach was compressed like a brick wall... I thought I was dying... I told my wife I think it is my time to go... My wife told me to hang in there...

... One doctor came... he could not touch me, since I am the president. He needed to have another doctor present, a witness, just in case if I die..."

Near death experiences like that sometimes insires people to do MAGIC... The impossible... Sometimes... LOL...

President Martelly do not give up, because you have a mission for Haiti.

I do believe tribulations and death is a part of our life on earth but remember God will be with you always if you try to do your best. I hope after this experience you will review your life and keep all God commandments and keep doing all the good things all times, God will protect you from the bad or evil things.

Benardette, after near death experience, people always see things different.

Time will show if he was near death.

He needs to clean his surrounding, stay a way from parasites, crooks, malefactors, and the most important thing for him, is to fight for the people, he most know the people don't live (or needs) rice and beans
