Haiti Government program "Gouvenman Lakay ou" Coming to Miami Florida

Haitian diaspora get ready... "Gouvenman Lakay ou" -- Haiti's Government town-hall meeting -- is coming to Miami in July 19 2014... So gather your demands so the Haitian government can address them "En Direct!"

Haiti's government has been going around the country speaking to the people via a program called "Gouvenman Lakay ou" (The government at your service.) The 9th edition will be held in Miami.

The Haitian diaspora is a key economic source for the Republic of Haiti but with very little influence in Haitian politics (my opinion)

Gouvenman Lakay is a townhall meeting, a communication platform between the government and the people. After watching some of the past editions of the program and hearing all the great things that the government is doing in the part of the country where that edition is being held, I am very curious to know that the Haitian government is doing for the diaspora.

As a diaspora myself, I really hate feeling like an outsider in the affairs of my country. I want to have every single right that a Citizen living in Haiti. There are many who want to keep us out of Haitian politics. we cannot let that happen.
