Jovenel Moise destroyed his own majority inside Haiti Parliament, Depute Jean Marie Florestal said
APH, Alliance parlementaire pour Haiti, was the majority supporting the actions of the government but, according to Depute Florestal, himself a member of APH, this bloc no longer exists.
When asked by a journalist: "are you a member of the APH or are you now in the opposition," Depute Jean Marie Florestal replied: "Jovenel Moise kraze APH... Pa gen APH ankò" (President Jovenel destroyed APH, this majority block no longer exists)
Legally APH still exists in the chamber of Deputes because it is registered but, in reality, APH has been dissolved," the Depute said.
"If APH existed, before choosing Jean Henry Ceant for Prime Minster, president Jovenel Moise would have sat down with APH," Depute Florestal said. "After choosing Ceant for Prime Minister, the president would have sat down with us to say: Guys, get yourselves together and give me Jean Henry Ceant as prime minister."
"Today it is clear, Jovenel Moise does not have Jean Henry Ceant in his pocket, he has his own plans and he is going to fall flat on his face. (li gen afè pa li an pòch li e l ap kase dan l tou!), Florestal said."
What do you think about that?
