One thing that was different about the Haiti Prime Minister's flight to New York this week is that he traveled COACH... Yep... Laurent Lamothe flew American Airlines COACH, sources says he even refused a courtesy upgrade to first class... Guess what... There's more to it than that...

The Entire government of Haiti is going to have to travel COACH from now on... Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe told TV5 in a video interview while in New York.

8 minute into the video (Watch the video here) Laurent Lamothe says:

"This is Symbolic but says a lot to show the world that we are serious... All the funds must be invested on the population, in the country, in reconstruction..."

"Upon my return," Lamothe continues, "We are going to have an arretée to make sure that the entire government travels coach from now on..."

KEEP IN MIND: Laurent Lamothe had his own private Jet BEFORE he became prime Minister of Haiti, a high ranking member of his administration told me... so Traveling coach is something the man has not done in quite a while!

Hmmm...
