Haiti government has USD 50 million ready to combat coronavirus

In order to combat the spread of coronavirus in the country, the government of the Republic of Haiti has an envelope of 50 million US dollars.

This envelope of 50 million US dollars from projects financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is available to combat the spread of the coronavirus in the country.

These funds come from the public treasury and donations and aid from donors, according to a circular bearing the signature of Prime Minister Joseph Jouthe declaring a state of health emergency throughout the national territory.

Yet more money to line the pockets of the elite in Haiti.

The people, who need it most, will not see a dime. Money will not solve Haiti's issues.

They need businesses to give them jobs. They want to work. US does not get it. Much like the donations from the earthquake this money will be squandered or create another layer of rich people.
