In a press conference Wednesday, former LAVALAS presidential candidate Maryse Narcisse said: "Moman an rive pou nou chavire chodye a." That's creole for the time has come for us to get rid of Jovenel Moise as president together with his government.

"The people demand annother country and another form of government where people can live like people," Maryse Narcisse said. "This 18 November, sera seta (this is it)."

Haitian Journalist Garry Pierre Paul Charles of radio SCOOP FM tweeted: "Fanmi lavalas tries to take control of the mobilization of 18 November and demands the departure of President Jovenel Moise. 2022 is too far !!!! Power at all costs !!!!!!!!"

He is not kidding.
