Haiti - DCPJ goes to the home of Dimitri Vorbe and Rene Preval Widow Elisabeth Debrosse
Breaking News - Dossier Sogener - Haiti judicial police attempted to execute arrest warrants against Dimitri Vorbe and Elisabeth Debrosse Préval, the widow of ex-president Rene Preval on Saturday, December 14, 2019.
Late after noon, around 4:30 pm, news broke on social media that the Haiti's judicial police (DCPJ) were outside the residence of late president Rene Preval to serve arrest warrant on his wife, Elisabeth Debrosse Delatour Preval.
They also came to my house asking us to go to the DCPJ," said Dimitri Vorbe, vice-president and executive director of Sogener, in a text message to newspaper Le Nouvelliste.
Sources told the newspaper hooded police officers, without the presence of a judge, came to Elisabeth Preval's home and asked to enter to carry out the arrest warrant. The security officers at the residence did not give the police access to enter.
