President Jovenel Moise is indicted (inclupé, as the Haitian oppositio likes to say) and that was done specifically to kick him out of the presidential race, former Haitian senator Edwin Zenny said.
Senator Evaliere Beauplan vs President Jovenel Moise
"We are not the best of friends these days but I have to admit the truth," Edo Zenny said. "President's name was added in a report for 76 lamppost (lampadaire) costing 4 or 5 million gourdes."
"They added his name in an investigative report but the guy who made the report was a LAVALAS."
"They did this to remove Jovenel from the race for president. And this same issue is coming back to haunt him once again."
The former senator said before he was president, a company ha owned landed a small contract with the government. The president and his team have to find a way out of this, he added.
