Do you think it is possible for political relations between the United States and Haiti to be reset?

I was reading an article in the New York Times following the second anniversary of the assassination of President Jovenel Moise and, in the article, the reporter made reference to a new opportunity that presents whereby the relationship between the US and Haiti can be reset.

Can it really be reset?

Will the United States ever overlook the fact that Haiti is a black republic?

I hate to admit it but he hasn't been that long since people, US citizens were protesting in the streets of America screaming black lives matter.

If they are still screaming black lives matter long after Martin Luther King hottest dream, long after Malcolm X, after America elected the first black President Barack Obama, it can only mean that something is still wrong in paradise.

According to the New York Times article, the fact that there is an investigation going on in the United States in regards to the assassination of President Jovenel Moise and the fact that some people were arrested and convicted for the assasination of the Haitian President, they say "the investigation presents an opportunity... to reset U.S.-Haiti relations, , which have long included American political interference and interventionism."

So what do you think?

You think Jovenel now is dead, now the American government and a Haitian government will live happily ever after?

I would love to read your comments about this.
