Promise of jobs spurs Haiti development debate.

According to Miami Herald on 11 June 2012, The emergence of a new industrial park in northern Haiti has reignited discussion about the best way for Haiti to develop.

Gloria Apparel has been operating in the Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince for seven years and Lee is considering moving his Guatemala operation to Caracol.

The park represents a $300 million investment by the U.S. government and Inter-American Development Bank to create up to 65,000 jobs in the region in the coming years.
