We, the diaspora had to do anything what we had to do to...

We, the diaspora had to do anything what we had to do to survive on foreign soil. We gave our blood and sweat to foreign land so we can have a roof our heads, food on the table and enough left over to send back home to our families.

Now, you are telling me that we are not accepted as HAITIANS in our own land?

What kind of crap is this?

Do you know how many sacrifices we have to make in order to send money home?

Do you know how many meals we have to skip in order to send money home?

Do you know how many bills we have to skip in order to send money home?

Do you know how much humiliation we have to endure, when foreigners are talking about how no good we are to their economy because of our remittance back home?

Do you know how much we have to endure in order to support you back home?

Or do you?

Don't you dare disrespect us now, after all we have suffered in order to keep you alive!!!
Yet, we took all of it in stride; thinking we have a home to go back to. Please do not deceive us. Our home, Haiti is all that kept us going.

You understand?
