As a Haitian male who has been living in America, for the past 30years.

I embrace this news with open heart.why?

Because most Haitians who came to America usually have one thing in mind is to be citizen of this country and totally forget their homeland, until things get better back home, so to me honestly it will be unfair to those Haitians who's been living in Haiti all their lives to be a Sanator or a President of the country, than suddenly a person who is a Haitian American wants to occupy the same post. I strongly disagree with that, unless this particular Haitian American person stay in Haiti for at least 3 years straight and very mature within certain age frame! God bless us all for the sake of Haiti.
