Upon securing the release of an African-American Colonel...

Upon securing the release of an African-American Colonel taking hostage (name/location, memory elapse), a reporter asked President Reagan for his opinion of the Rev Jessie Jackson who negotiated the release of the captured Colonel.

Reagan replied who can't fight success, Rev Jackson succeed where high ranking US military officials failed.

The same is true to you Sir, you win! I won't challenge your victory.

Thank you for taking time out to write this thorough piece.

I read it 3 times already.

These exchanges are time consuming, but they could be beneficial to everyone who is paying attention.

Perhaps one day, hopefully in the near future we'll explore the "Civil Corp Project" For the past 2 years a closed friend, a retired US Air Force Colonel has been workinng on a similar idea. Obviously Haiti is dear to our heart causing passion and tension at time causing high blood pressure and stroke.,
Our institutions are very weak, our officers lack everything Emily Troutman freelance writer for AOL news wrote a few months ago "It may not be Al-Quaida, but some second rate terrorists are always ready to help a weak state fail. The Haitian Coast Guard has one boat or maybe a few, drug dealers love that. As soon as you think you understand Haiti, thats the moment you can be sure you don't understand anything" I agree with many of the things you say, but the TALK, TALK doesn't apply to me. I don't talk, I contribute with my limited resources for I know to whom much is given, much is required.

My family believes in the one another way, serving Christ through concrete actions.

My wife closed her private practice 3 days after the terrible eartquake of Jan 12th 10, flew to Haiti abroad a military plane with a group of physicians to provide emergency medicine to the earthquake victims.

I've been involved in various aspects and remain active.

We're blessed with talents and skills that are needed to rebuild a new Haiti.

One thing is certain Haiti will be around long after we're gone. What does the future hold for our motherland?

Who is going to win?

Will the lection really take place?

I trust in God for the future of Haiti bringing my concerns and sorrow before him. Although I enjoy these healthy discussions beginnning next week I plan to stay away from the forum to focus more on spiritual activities.

All the best to you all, With love & respect
