Solving the case of President Jovenel's assassination will solve problems that have been plaguing Haiti for ages, his son Joverlein said
Joverlein Moise, son of assassinated Haitian president Jovenel Moise, Exiled in Canada
The young man seems to believe that the same group of people who assassinated his father, president Jovenel Moise, have been slowly bringing our country Haiti to its knees for decades.
In an interview to "Le Point" on Television Metropole early November 2021, Joverlein Moise said the following to journalist Wendell Theodore:
Think about it. My father was talking about Constitution. He was talking about energy reforms. He was talking about infrastructure reforms.
He made reforms in the sector of identity ( a plan to better identify Haitian citizens / Haitian voters).
He (president Jovenel) wanted elections so the country can continue to function democratically as prescribed by the Constitution.
If you want all of that for a country and for some people to plan, to finance and to execute what happened on July 7th 2021, these people are automatically enemies of the Republic.
These are not the kinds of people who want what's best for Haiti.
If we stick together, if we put all of our voices together, if we stay in solidarity with this topic, with the judicial aspects of this case, if we apply some pressure, not only will we have a better chance at finding Justice for president Jovenel Moise, we may end up solving problems that have been plaguing this country for God knows how long.
Problems that has existed since way before I was born.
