"Jovenel cannot go to Pont Rouge on October 17th even if he deploys every unit of the Haitian National Police force," Rony Timothee said on a radio station in the capital. Listen to this audio.

The opposition strongman dares president Jovenel Moise to go to Pont-Rouge on October 17th 2019 to deposit flowers for Papa Dessalines.

"We (the opposition) are the real political force in the country," Rony Timothee said, "everything we do the people join in and agree with us."

"Today Jovenel has only one thing to do, and I hope October 17th does not arrive with Jovenel still in the country."

Not only will Jovenel not be able to go to Pont Rouge, he will not be able to go to Marchand Dessalines, Rony Timothee said.
