Haiti Prime Minister Ratification session turns into a street protest Monday
What started as an attempt to hold a ratification session for Haitian Prime Minister Fritz William Michel turned into total chaos Monday at the Senate.

One journalist got shot from the handgun of Senator Ralph Fetiere who claims it was an accident while he was trying to escape a group of militants who managed to get inside the grounds of the Senate and was harassing him.
It was total chaos inside of Haitian parliament early in the morning as senators were getting ready to hold the Prime Minister's ratification session. Although Senate president Carl Murat Cantave took steps to have the Haitian police secure the area, this plan failed.
