Haiti high ranking officials more interested in personal gain than providing service to the people
They are not there for the well-being of the population. They are more interested in their own well-being.
When someone becomes director-general of a State agency, the very first thing they look at is how comfortable they are. First, he looks to see if the couch and other office equipment in their office needs to be changed and what kind of commission he will make when he changes it.
The State vehicle that was already available to him, it is still operational; however, if he keeps it he won't make any commission. So why not buy a new one?
Off he goes to purchase another vehicle where he can get a big commission. Next next worries about how much money he's going to make while in his post.
This happens on all levels of society and all levels of the state.

The people in the government has shown that Haiti would have done better under France.
Every government official that has been in place has contributed to destroying the country.
At least France government would put some kind of order to the country and when the earthquakes destroy the country France would step in and
