Haiti's INITE Party Says It May Have Lost The Elections

AFP reports... "Haiti's ruling INITE (Unity) party acknowledged Tuesday it may have lost the weekend's national elections"

Senator Joseph Lambert who is the national coordinator of the presidential platform INITE told reporters that "INITE is ready to accept democratic change"

Here's the scary part... He mentioned the "O" word... "Oposition"

Senator Lambert says:

"If we've lost the elections at the presidential level we WILL go into opposition, and we can live with the party that has won the elections"

All this is according to a news article titled "Haiti ruling party says it may have lost elections" released by AFP

I am not a political expert but in Haiti... Is 'opposition' a Democrat vs Republican type thing or is it more of a 'aba' and 'rache manyok' type thing?

Hey... It's politics... There will always be an opposition but... will it be something that will thrust Haiti forward?
