While many people are in streets protesting against Haiti President Martelly, the chief of state decided to go ahead with the ceremonies in Cap Haitien to commemorate the 210th of anniversary of the battle of Vertieres...
The most up-to-date news we have is that President is in Cap Haitien, he is heavily guarded and going ahead with the ceremony.
The president is expected to make a speech at Vertiere later today
