Haiti Elections - Local Print Shops UPSET because Voting Ballots printed in Dubai...

Haiti Elections Update -- Many Haitian print shops are upset because the Haiti election ballots were printed all the way in Dubai, over 12,000 Km from Haiti, while the job was never offered to any local print shops...

According to an article published in Le Nouvelliste, print shops like Les Imprimeries des Antilles, Maison Henri Deschamps, Le Natal, Domond, NAPCO and Litho CS denounced the fact that PNUD, the United Nations Development Programme in charge of the Elections money decided to send the order to print ballots to Dubai totally ignoring them on the ground in Haiti...

The article went further to explain that only two elections ballots were printed overseas in Haiti since 1987.

What do you think about that?
