If this story is true, the said senator must be deprived of his/her immunity and be arrested by the Haitian Justice.

However, if we want to set a State of laws where democracy is a rule of laws, this kind of speech from the president must stop. The State has three distinct powers: The Legislative, the Executive, and the Judiciary and neither one can dictate the other anything.

If it is the case, president Jovenel must leave his dictatorial attitude at the National Palace.

He cannot arrest anybody.

He must just like any other citizen call on the justice of his country, fill out a complaint and let the other power (Judiciary) do its work. A president is not above the law and we are far away from: "L'Etat, c'est moi." time.
