I agree with you Bernadette social engineering is powerless in the face of the people.

Without their complicity, their money, their religion, their propaganda, their tolerance to promote it, social engineering would not happen.

In the end the people always get what they deserve because of tenacity or lack of it.
I agree with you once more, a theory non-tested and re-tested empirically for truth and consistency is nothing more a theory and should not be considered fact. Anybody can talk crap these days, but proving it empirically is something else. We are far from quoting what dad, uncle, aunt and mom said. What they said were most likely good to guide us as children.
