It is a refreshing news to learn that the dictator, Jean-Claude Duvalier, will finally stand trial for corruption.

It is my firm belief that the Haitian people in unison are awaiting anxiously for the outcome of this trial.

No head of state should get away scot free with moneys stolen from the coffers of a country.

However, I do not understand why the judge will not try him for the crimes he has committed against the Hatian people.

Is it because of lack of evidence?

We all know that record keeping in Haiti was non-existant during the Duvalier's area; hence, the difficulties in finding concrete evidence to convict the sonofabitch.
