Most of us Haitians are so dumb about what is really happenning in our country, that we are looking at things that made us suffer in the first place.

For years we had an army and what did it really accomlish for us?

NOTHING!!!

Killing our people, rape our children and control the political process.

For all the people that think an army now is a good ideas should just re-check the history of the Haitian army...

Remember zinglindou and kidnapping started under the wathful eyes of the army....

It all started when the army was still there...

So, what security are we talking about...

We need a good police force to investigate and arrest the bad guys --- a judicial system to prosecute them...

and some secured Jails to lock these bad guys forever

34; I'm talking about our corrupt politicians and government officials for christ sake...

WAKE UP PEOPLE"

We cannot even organize a good police force, it's corrupted, inefficient and untrain.

How can we them, with creating an army force that we can trust..

Can we trust the Haitien government?...

if yes, good luck!!!!

What Haiti needs now is to shift it's focus on security.

Without security the country will go nowhere.

There will be no investment, no reconstruction, no tourism - NO MONEY FOR HAITI -

We can accomplish all that by re-training and augmenting the police force now to 25,000 strong.

Give them a better pay so they don't have to harrass and beg drivers on the street for money.

If you have been to Haiti you know what I'm talking about...

One third of the money that they would spend on an army can do all that, and the rest can go to the people.

We have to work on fighting corruptions, that is the biggest problem of Haiti, massive amount of money is being funnel out the country by our politians and government official and now we want to add an army to the mix. YOU MUST BE INSANE!

Every single Haitien should demand and force the government to provide SECURITY and nothing less, and if one is not fit for the job we should replace them.

It's time that we the middle class start to fight for our country, for years we been counting on the poor and unprivelege class of Haiti to fight.

Let's face it, we are the one driving on these f-ck up road, receiving a high electric bill without getting any electricity, create businesses without any security
