Hey Billy, I know this past year in Haiti has not been easy...

Hey Billy,
I know this past year in Haiti has not been easy for you: I also know that you are not a quitter.

Haiti as been your Pied-a-terre in the Caribbean since your honeymoon with Hilary (1975).

You have made some mistakes (the rice business); But you have also done a whole lot of good for Haiti.

(collecting funds for Haiti soon after the Quake).

During the Haitian-Guantanamo-Bay fiasco, 1994, you truly talked about Haiti as a Sovereign Country, not some Godforsaken-backwater country.

As you said yourself, you are in terminal stage of your career, why would you give your time to Haiti, if you were not serious about it?

I believe that you are. Don't let Rouzier rain in your parade.

I am not quite sure how Rouzier could "fire" you since he did not hire you.
You came to Haiti to do one thing: Help the Haitian people.

Continue to do your thing...Perhaps, it is time that you do something really BOLD like recruiting a few good Haitians to be seriously trained in the management of some NGO's of their own. With your credentials, reputations and savoir-faire, it would have been a sure bet. With higher-end-business-school-student volunteers and your networking expertise would have made an awesome combo!!
In any events, Kimbe fem, pa lague.

Tande, fre'm. Rouzier, pas Rouzier, Haiti needs your help still.
