We hear you, Patricia! But if the people are angry against the CEP and the Government, it should not be the poor seller of pistach and mangoes who should pay the price for that anger.

That anger should not be directed at someone who is driving their automobile trying to mind his/her business.

The business of throwing rocks at just anybody for just about anything is senseless.

Yes, gathering peacefully to manifest against an issue is the right of every citizen in any country who embrace the ideals of Democracy.

Yes, gathering of the people to demand justice in any perceived unjust predicament is the right of the people in a Democracy.

Gathering to demand justice in a court of law or due process of law is the ideal way to go, because it opens up positive avenues for the future.

When and if justice is not rendered by law in a lower court then there is always a higher court to facilitate a non-violent route to any situation.

Ideally that is the righteous course that promotes healthy relationships in a democracy.

SIMPLY PUT, VIOLENCE CREATES VIOLENCE, AND ONE EYE FOR ONE EYE WILL LEAVE EVERYONE BLIND.

CAN YOU SEE?

Yes, the people have rights to defend their common interest, but gathering to destroy the nation they love; to destroy their neighbors' property; to destroy the infracstructure of Haiti is not and should not be the righteous course of action of any responsible citiizen of any nation.

I understand your point clearly, in that if the vote of the people is stolen then there should be an avenue for their frustration to be expressed.

THIS FRUSTRATION SHOULD BE EXPRESSED AGAINST THE MECHANISMS OF THE GOVERNMENT WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT PERCEIVED INJUSTICE, AND THIS NEEDS TO BE DONE IN A NON-VIOLENT AND CIVIL MANNER.

THE PEOPLE'S DEVOTION WILL ALWAYS OVERCOME, BUT VIOLENCE WILL ONLY PLUNGE OUR NATION INTO A DEEPER DARKNESS OF SICKNESS.

LET THE PEOPLE ACT WITH THEIR DEVOTED WILL, AND NOT VIOLENCE.

TRUST IN THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE.

God Bless Haiti!
