You are absolutely right.

I am almost 50 years old and Jean Claude is not my colleagues nor is he my best friend but while I was growing up I had the priviledge to be among them on countless occasions.

He used to pass by my house while driving his motorcycle, put his finger on top of his lips and said shuuuuuu.

Which means SEE NO EVIL, HEAR NO EVIL. I remember seeing him sitting on a piece of oak tree talking to an old man (plaintain farmer) who was cooking under a jackfruit tree. He was amusing himself.

I had to hurry up and got away from that location because of the national guards who were all over Haiti at that time.

To make a long story short, I do believe when I left Haiti in 1973 at the beginning of his Regime Jean Claude Duvalier was really looking for GOD first, JESUS, ABRAHAM, JACOB second and third a way out of his burden (fardeau).

I hope he feels better soon.
