Beware the PetroCaribe Thieves in the fight for power in Haiti.

Many people who dilapidated the PetroCaribe funds in Haiti are seeking amnesty and they are seeking power to get it, Politician Eric Jean Baptiste says watch out.

"In the ongoing battle to over control of Power in Haiti, there are many PetroCaribe thieves who embed themselves in that fight as well and who are seeking Amnesty," Eric Jean Baptiste said.

PetroCaribe: Haiti President Jovenel Moise comes clean in Miami Herald Op-Ed

Haitian Jovenel Moise: Haiti has 5 problems!

According to an op-ed writen by president Jovenel Moise himself on the Miami Herald Friday, PetroCaribe is being used against him by "a small group of people who have been abusing weaknesses in the Haitian system for a long time" to further their own cynical political and financial interests.

President Jovenel Moise writes:

The PetroCaribe corruption crisis has plagued our country... For my part, I took to the airwaves to directly answer allegations made against me in a report about PetroCaribe funds.

PetroCaribe: Senator Lambert asks all individuals and companies indexed to get ready for Justice

Senator Joseph Lambert - Who is Joseph Lambert?

While everyone is focusing on president Jovenel Mois in in regards to the dilapidaiton of the PetroCaribe money, Senator Joseph Lambert ask everyone whose name was mentioned to answer the justice system.

"If the name of anyone individual or any company is indexed in the PetroCaribe report, it is your duty when the time comes to report to the justice system with your lawyer to clear your name," Senator Lambert said.

As of right now, Senator Lambert said, no one has been charged nor condemned of any wrongdoings in regards to the dilapidation of the PetroCaribe money.

Dossier PetroCaribe has made a full comeback in Haiti after CSCCA submits corruption report to Parliament

PetroCaribe has returned as the talk of the town in Haiti after the has mad a full comeback in Haiti after Superior Court of Accounts and Administrative Litigation (CSCCA) submitted part 2 of the corruption report to parliament.

The final CSCCA PetroCaribe report was submitted to Parliament on May 31, 2019.

Miami Herald Journalist Jacqueline Charles tweets: "Long awaited Part 2 Petrocaribe corruption report is out. Are folks nervous or do they think it's just another Haiti report that will go nowhere? By the way it's over 600 pages and the president's Agritrans features as prominently here as it did in his presidential campaign."

PetroCaribe : Haiti Court of Auditors submits its report to the Senate

Cour Superieure des Comptes submits Petrocaribe Report to the Senate of the Republic of Haiti

Haiti's Superior Court of Accounts and Administrative Litigation (CSCCA) promised to submit their PetroCaribe report to the senate in January 2019 and they kept their promise.

On Thursday, January 31 2019, La Cour Superieure des Compte transmitted its PetroCaribe investigative report in the Senate of the Republic.

The report is somewhat incomplete, according to CSCCA President Pierre Volmar Desmesyeux,who indexes the "reluctance and slow pace of some administrations" as the main cause, Le Nouvelliste reports.

Helen Meagher La Lime, the head of the United Nations Mission for Justice Support in Haiti (MINUJUSTH) made in clear the mission will not involve itself in the PetroCaribe drama, the hottest topic in town.

Madame La Lime took advantage of the press conference organized on the occasion of the United Nations Day on October 24, 2018 to fix her position of this mission on the PetroCaribe issue which has been making waves for several months, Le Nouvelliste reported.

Laurent Lamothe no-show at Parquet de Port-au-Prince to answer PetroCaribe questions

Former Haiti prime minister Laurent Lamothe did not show up at Parquet de Port-au-Prince to answer questions Commissaire du gouvernement Clame Ocham Dameus Tuesday.

Lamothe's lawyers wrote a letter to the Commissaire saying that such a meeting was impossible because of there is an ongoing strike by the Barreau de Port-au-Prince and they cannot accompany Laurent Lamothe to the Parquet.

Commissaire Clame Ocham Dameus told the media he understands and a new date will be given to Lamothe and his lawyers to come answer questions.

The PetroCaribe Challenge which started out as a non political movement is slowly becoming a political movement to get rid of President Jovenel Moise. LAVALAS is behind it, ex senator Edo Zenny said.

In a recent radio interview the former senator said "Lavalas is behind the PetroCaribe movement and they are on the verge of stealing the movement from the Petro Challengers," the youth group who started the movement on social media and later took it to the streets of Haiti.

Haiti Govt set up new Commisson to analyse PetroCaribe documents, PM said

Haiti prime minister Jean Henry Ceant at the Chamber of Deputees

The Government has set up a group of national experts to analyze all the documents received in connection with the PetroCaribe, Prime Minister Jean Henry Ceant said in a Tweet Monday. "We will also use a foreign firm with accounting and auditing expertise to complement the independent commission," he said.

This tweet started of series of tough reactions on social media with less than an hour after it was posted.

One of those reactions came from actress Gessica Geneus who is one of the young Haitians leading the PetroCaribe challenge.
