Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will meet with Haiti's President-elect Michel Martelly at 11:30 a.m. today, Wednesday, April 20, at the Department of State in Washington, DC

The announcement was made late yesterday in a press statement by the US State Department

SIDE NOTE: Voice of America did edit the article that led readers to believe that the meeting between Haiti's president elect and the US Secretary of state was not confirmed.

"The meeting will serve as an opportunity to reaffirm the relationship between the United States and Haiti and the United States' continued commitment to Haiti's reconstruction and economic development."

J'aimerais que le nouveau President Haitien de lancer d'interdiction de depart pour tous les membres du Conseil Electoral Provisoir semblant marionnette du pouvoir Preval/Belrive.

I think the travel of the haitian president is important just to understand what the international politics is and to get familiarized with. even though it's not an official travel.

Anyway, I get confident my country will know the change by a man who will be led by his conscience but not by scientific theory only. Because science without conscience is a ruin for the soul. Martelly keep on thinking the real haitian change.

What Bill Clinton was unable to accomplish for haiti during his 2 terms with a magic stick plus ABRACADABRA to fulfill them all will certainly in the middle of this meeting.
