Marie Gladice Jean St Jean, first ever woman depute for Jeremie Haiti
By winning a deputy seat in the last general elections, Marie Gladice St-Jean Lundy became the first female Depute member of Parliament to represent Jérémie Haiti.
Marie Gladice St-Jean Lundy was born in Jeremie on May 19, 1970.
Very few women take the risk tu runfor political office in Haiti. By winning, Marie Gladice St-Jean Lundy made history.
Before becoming Depute, In 1995, after the creation of the Ministry for the Status of Women and Women's Rights, she was recruited as departmental coordinator of this ministry for Grand'Anse.
