There was an incident in a Haitian anti-government street protest in Port-au-Prince Thursday. One person was shot dead and another one was wounded. The opposition is crying foul play, the police is saying otherwise.

Former Haitian Senator and opposition leader Moise Jean Charles told news reporters it was police in plain clothes under the control of President Jovenel Moise who murdered one of his militants.

On the other hand, the Haitian police said they have in custody a man who said that two other men tried to rob him during the protest and he defended himself with a gun which he has a license to carry. In other words it was self-defense.

According to news reports there was even an attempt by the protesters to carry the body and deliver it in front of the National Palace under the pretense that it is a political murder.

How will the story end? So far nobody knows. This is Haiti after all.

What do you think about that?
