Haiti Presidential Motorcade Involved In An Accident Near Cap Haitien

Milot Haiti - Haiti President Michel Martelly's motorcade was involved in a car accident in northern Haiti on Thursday. Seven people were seriously injured inclucing a 6 year old girl. President Martelly was not hurt.

Yvon Alteon, The Delegue Departmental du Nord, was amongst those seven seriously injured. Yvon Alteon was airlifted to a hospital in Port-au-Prince.

President Martelly and Haitian Tourism Minister Stephanie Villedrouin were at the front of the motorcade and were not injured.

According to Haiti White House press secretary Lucien Jura, the presidential motorcade was returning from an inspection visit at the Citadelle Laferriere when the braking system of one of the polaris all-terrain vehicles (ATV) fails.

On board there were two security officers, Yvon Altéon, two members of the Communication of the Presidency and a member of the logistics department. they were all injured in the accident.

A six year girl who was standing on the side of the road looking at the motorcade happened to be on the trajectory. She was also injured during the accident.

Quickly there were arrangements, so that the injured were transported to the Hospital Sacré-Coeur of Milot and for others, provisions have been taken to send them to Port-au-Prince by helicopter.

President Martelly and the rest of the motorcade are safe and sound.

Will go to Hell, you rightly said "Dominican pas machande" because the most destitute Haitian will think several hundred times over before engaging in prostitution, selling drugs, work for organized crimes where as Dominican will do it without thinking.

Ask any Haitian good taxi driver to bring you to the so called "Taliban nightclubs" in any vibrant city in the US;after you get there find out, find out where those so called "Taliban women" came from since they don't speak Pashto or Dari but dominican.
