Haiti Election Day 2010 - Riots In Port-au-Prince Already?
Election day is over in Haiti and there already riots calling for the annulment of today's Presidential elections. Rioters say the Preval administration committed fraud in the elections in favor of INITE candidate Jude Celestin.[bb]
There has been riots in upper Delmas and Petion-Ville.[bb]
The rioters took the direction of the Haiti Electoral Council (CEP) office building. [bb]
A radio station in Haiti's capital reported that UN Soldiers and Haitian police officers threw tear gas at the rioters to disperse the crowd and fortified the CEP Office building.[bb]
