Education ministry begging the opposition to allow school to reopen in Haiti
School has been opened in Haiti officially since early September; however, students have been home everyday unable to go to school due to manifestations and street protest almost everyday since.
As of the writing of this Article, Monday October 7th 2019, journalist are reporting there are no signs of students in the streets heading to school in the capital and many other major cities in Haiti. School doors are still closed as well.

In their public declarations, leaders of the opposition have said school will not re-open until President Jovenel Moise steps down.
