Replying to It's Unfortunate that President Trump wants to end TPS, New York State Senator says, Greeting, Your Excellency:

The Haitian immigrants, like all West Indians immigrants, are self-reliant and value delayed gratification and educational enhancement.

Governmental hand out programs are shunned in this community, unlike in non-Cuban Hispanic immigrant groups, where they are viewed as being an entitlement.

It is for this that we should be welcomed into your great nation as folks who will enhance it and keep its prices down, instead of draining the economy.

Thank you kindly for allowing me the honor to write to you.
