The last time that I went to both places about some six years ago, they both needed repairs badly but were clean.

People were mostly interested in historical facts than the cosmetic aspects of the sites.

Now that Haiti is interested in bringing more tourists in, the government should be interested in modern ameneties and sprucing up a bit.In any events, The glorious History of those places take a high seat in each and every Haitian dead or alive.
