You rightly use the word useless.

However you using it in the wrong sentence because the world know that the Haitian military thugs, Alibaba was useless and its role3 was for repression, abusing the peasants, intimidation, extortion, serial coup d'etats, homosexuality practices, and for illegal drugs shipment.
