As of 16 October 2019, The United Nations will continue under the acronym BINUH or in French Bureau intégré des Nations Unies en Haïti -- The United Nations Integrated Office in Haiti -- established by the UN Security Council resolution 2476 (25 June 2019).

On Monday October 14, 2019, United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres announced the appointment of Helen La Lime of the United States as his Special Representative for Haiti and Head of the United Nations Integrated Office in Haiti (BINUH).

The document, signed by seven senators, three deputies, and two mayors, was delivered to the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General in Haiti, as well as to the office of the Secretary-General in New York.
