Sarah Palin Will Be In Haiti This Weekend

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is scheduled to be Haiti this weekend to aid humanitarian efforts.

A member of Sarah Palin staff confirmed Thursday that Palin, the 2008 vice presidential nominee and a potential 2012 presidential contender, planned to travel to Haiti with the Rev. Franklin Graham as part of the outreach of his Samaritan's Purse relief organization.

Here is a clip from a news release about Sarah Palin's Visit to Haiti from the official website of Billy Graham Evangelistic Association:

December 10, 2010 - Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is scheduled to accompany Franklin Graham on a trip to Haiti this weekend to help highlight the desperate needs in the country.

"I am pleased that Gov. Palin will accompany us on a brief trip to Haiti this weekend and I appreciate her willingness to visit Haiti during such troubled times," Graham said. "I don't know of any people in recent years who have suffered more, and in such a short period of time, than the people of this small country--with an earthquake, a hurricane, and now a cholera epidemic. I believe Gov. Palin will be a great encouragement to the people of Haiti and to the organizations, both government and private, working so hard to provide desperately needed relief."

Palin staffer Rebecca Mansour said, via the Huffingon Post, plans called for Palin to be joined by her husband, Todd, and, Mansour believed, daughter Bristol as well.

Haiti does not need hand outs. People need to be supported to rebuild their lives.

Jobs, business opportunities, opening the market for the country, fight corruption; these are great steps to get the nation on its feet again.

The nations should turn their hearts to this

If Sarah Palin wants to help the people of Haiti, she can donate some of her millions to orphanages, hospitals, good organizations, and people in general.

If she's going to Haiti to put stuff on her reality show, and if this lands on her reality show, I along with millions of people on facebook will publicly call her a very stupid woman, exploiting very poor and desperate people in desperate conditions.

Sisters and Brothers,

Is not it wonderful that we have a dignitary from the US government sophisticated high-profile-circle visiting our lovely little motherland.

The exciting buzz is that Senator Joseph Lambert will be escorting her - as a distinguished member of her entourage - to show her how clean the streets are, as a result of his sanitary initiative to clean up of Haiti after the earthquake.
